Excellent Covers of Original Songs

The bust opposite is that of Nita Resch, wife of the sculptor, Conrad Dressler.  The bust is now proudly displayed at the V&A Museum.

 

I chose this art as the statement photo for this blog, because Nita looked like she was trying to listen to something. 🙂

Anyway back to the real topic of this blog; almost every time the original singer of the song or tune is the best one to give rendition to song, I supposed the producer choose a song that best suit the singer’s voice and personality that song and singer become one.

But once in a while some other artists can be as good or even surpass the original performer.  Some songs are so great and melodious that it is rebooted over and over again in almost every generation.

What makes a KDrama special?  In my opinion the choice of soundtrack is very important.  Heartstrings, a Park Shin Hye  & Jung Yong Hwa drama is memorable to me because of the songs.  Step step by Suran also made Jealousy Incarnate that extra special!
