  1. What you know, you know;
what you don’t know, you don’t know.
    This is true wisdom.
    – Confucius

I think this does not really need much explanation.

  2. Man is a microcosm of the universe.
    – Democritus
    c. 460-371 BC

Democritus is so advance. He knew that men were made from the very elements universe are made from.

  3. To see what is in front of one’s nose requires constant struggle.
    – Goerge Orwell

This is very true. We normally take for granted those near and dear to us. We constantly pine for things that are beyond our (immediate) reach when all the while those that really matter most are right in front of our noses.

  4. Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
    – M Katleen Casey

This quote is really mature. Yes true pain can happen at any time and in whatever part of life. Like in having a toothache. You do not have to suffer for long, take medication or go to the dentist for consultation.

  5. Knowing others is intelligence, knowing yourself is true wisdom.
    – Laozi

    This is really deep.
I do agree. Knowing yourself, what you are capable of, what is your limit, how you feel, what is your strength, what is your weekness, what are your ideas, how you connect and see the things around you, will enable you to navigate your path in the world.

  6. Never pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel.
    – Bill Clinton

Love this quote. It means do not engaged in a fight or debate with someone who is at the ready or with someone who has a lot of time.

  7. Turn your wound into wisdom.
    – Oprah Winfrey

Oprah has the right idea. Do not just be wounded forever. Do not colour your life with your wound instead learn from it. Make it work for you.
